Fiona, born here at Selten Ruhe, is a perfect representation of the German Shepherd Dog, strong mind & body, a desire to please and looks great doing so. Fiona has it all, outstanding movement, quick mind and a open, sound temperament. She has the best of both parents. She possesses and produces the qualities that make a German Shepherd from Selten Ruhe Kennels, recognizable everywhere you go. From AKC judges to the Mayor of Chicago, we receive comments and calls, that state, “We knew it was a Selten Ruhe dog, because he was so pleasant mannered and has that look that all your dog’s seem to have!”

Fiona has a fun personality, she likes to be with us, working with the sheep, exploring the woods and of course relaxing on the couch. She has a toy in her mouth everywhere she goes, unless working sheep. She enjoys fetch and playing with her doggy friends. She enjoys joining us at the fair and other booths as she loves to meet new people, young and old alike, definitely a social butterfly like her grandpa, Timbo vom Kirschental, enjoys working with the sheep, as much as he did also.

Fiona’s puppies have excelled in competition obedience, SAR, IPO, Therapy work, Nosework, Barn Hunt and of course in active family homes.
